This Terms and Conditions document governs the use of the JewelleryBoxOnline Web Shop Service. This Agreement can be accessed at any time from the top of any page of the site.

Acceptance of Terms When you access this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described below. If you do not agree to the terms discussed here, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.

Contract, Payment and Delivery Orders will be accepted by JewelleryBoxOnline, for delivery in New Zealand and Australia only. Payment is to be made in NZ currency. Any contract arising from this site is governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Product Availability Products may be added to or removed from the website from time to time. While we do not accept liability for any loss arising, every effort will be made to keep the information up to date and accurate.

Pricing All prices in the shopping areas are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include GST (15% sales tax). Prices may increase or decrease from time to time. Prices shown at the time of purchase are the prices you will pay.

You must pay by Mastercard or Visa. We will not accept cheques or cash on delivery.

Purchasing Products displayed on the JewelleryBoxOnline shopping site can be purchased using secure online Mastercard and Visa transaction facility.

Payment JewelleryBoxOnline are associated with DPS, New Zealand’s largest and most preferred payment gateway provider.

JewelleryBoxOnline do not collect or store any credit card information. This information is all processed by DPS. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details.

Registering (Login) You will be asked to register as a member of JewelleryBoxOnline.co.nz. Apart from the many member benefits, including receiving regular emails containing special deals, your shopping address details will be filed saving you the effort of entering these details each time you checkout.

As a registered customer we will send you emails and updates from time to time to inform you of new ranges, special offers and discounts. Please note, you are able to unsubscribe from our email updates at any time.

Security We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards being authorized and debited in real time, all in an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) environment. DPS is committed to protecting the security of your data.

Delivery We will not deliver to a Post Office box or any address in which we deem suspicious. We ship our goods using NZ Post.

Delivery charges will be added to each order and shown as a separate item before you chose to enter your payment details and send the order to be processed.

Within New Zealand we charge a flat handling & delivery fee of:

  • NZ$ 5.50 for Standard delivery (1-3 working days Monday to Saturday) and/or
  • NZ$ 7.50 for Fast Delivery (next working day Monday to Saturday).

 

For orders from Australia we charge a flat handling & delivery fee of:

  • NZ$ 10.00 for International Air (3-10 working days)

 

For all other international orders we charge a flat handling & delivery fee of:

  • NZ$ 20.00 for International Air (3-10 working days)

 

Our shipping fees do not include charges imposed by your country's Customs Agency. The recipient is fully responsible for any additional fees imposed by customs such as tariffs and duties.

Please double check the address for delivery on international orders. If orders are incorrectly addressed, they may not be delivered to your recipient. If international orders are returned and require a refund, please note that we do not refund the delivery fee, and if the order requires re-delivery, we will need to charge the delivery fee again.

Should you feel that your goods do not arrive in good condition, please feel free to contact us.

We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an incorrect address.

Title and Risk Goods are at our risk until delivered to the address given for your purchase.

Returns and Refunds Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind.

If you discover any defect in your product, you may return the item you purchase in new condition for a replacement within 30 days of delivery. When replacements are not available we may, at our discretion, provide a complete refund. We'll notify you via e-mail of the status of the replacement or refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 business days of our receiving your return.

Freight will be refunded where the product is faulty or arrived damaged.

Warranties When choosing our collection the best of care goes into sourcing suitable pieces for you to enjoy for a reasonable amount of time.

Under our guarantee, faulty items that meet our conditions of care and use will be repaired, replaced or a refund will be issued at JewelleryBoxOnline’s discretion.

Jewellery Box Online Limited will repair or replace any goods, which fail to comply with Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover faults arising from:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage or mistreatment
  • Changes to the original design
  • Damage caused by perfume, hairspray, chlorine or salt water, or other agents

How to care for Jewellery Jewellery Box Online Limited takes pride in the fact that our costume jewellery is guaranteed to be of the best quality. As with all fashion items your new piece(s) of jewellery need to be treated with care.

Do not subject your new jewellery to salt water, chlorine, detergents, perfume or hair spray.

To ensure you get the best from your new jewellery, treat them with the same care that you would any special item of clothing.

Limitation of Liability Jewellery Box Online Limited are not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products on this site. This includes but is not limited to the loss of data or loss of profit, even if Jewellery Box Online was advised of the possibility of such damages.
